Marine Machinery Mechanic [WG]

About the Position: Serves primarily as a Marine Machinery Equipment Mechanic Quality Assurance/Control representative overseeing the final repair and rebuild of a variety of high-power marine engines and major sub-assemblies and systems of very large and complicated watercrafts. Duties • Install replacement parts on marine engines using drawings, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools. • Monitor installment of major items of equipment such as, steering system malfunctions, reverse gears, reduction gears in seagoing craft, and security watercraft. • Oversee repairs to maintain operation of machines and equipment. • Repair failures in navigation devices, electrical and fuel systems in watercraft and/or marine boats. • Monitor repair and installment of mechanical equipment aboard watercrafts and related harbor.…
