• As a Supervisory Hydrologic Technician within the California Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Supervise and mentor staff: Plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises field and office activities; mentors employees and fosters a high-performing team; oversees employee career development, performance management, and promotion actions. Oversee hydrologic instrumentation and data collection: Manages installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex hydrologic instrumentation and telemetry systems; ensures compliance with field protocols and safety requirements; oversees quality assurance testing and validation of hydrologic records; prepares technical summaries and supporting materials for publications.…
