About this role
• Serve as Chief of the Fish and Wildlife Branch in the Environmental Division, Directorate of Public Works, with responsibility for conservation of fish and wildlife resources, • As the installation point of contact on Fish and Wildlife related issues you will represent Fort Stewart at meetings and conferences on Fish and Wildlife issues. • Plan and conduct biological surveys and management activities required for the protection and enhancement of fish and wildlife populations. • Manage data files on distribution of Threatened and Endangered Species (TES) on the installation and in the surrounding region. • Maintain TES data exchange with federal and state agencies, universities, and private organizations as appropriate to support regional goals. • Plan and assign work; furnishes information as to schedules, priorities, objectives and problems that may be encountered.
