About this role

• Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Develops updated Inventory and Monitoring protocols for terrestrial wildlife, specifically desert tortoise and bighorn sheep. Carries out data collection protocols for the monitoring of native wildlife. Conducts analysis of complex data and prepares scientific reports. Presents results to a variety of audiences. Carries out program management duties by developing work plans and schedules, scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals and/or grants to justify funding requests and accomplish goals. Coordinates the park's native wildlife management strategies and programs with those on adjacent lands for the purpose of achieving broad ecosystem protection strategies. Represents the park on NPS regional task groups or similar organizations.…
